 I've waited for this for so long. I was lucky enough to be at @beautybarph the day they restocked this. I've heard only great reviews of this line. It is supposed to have one of the most comfortable liquid lipstick formulas out there. This color drew me in the most out of the entire range because its a warmer toned version of my Ofra Laguna Beach, which is my summer obsession. Review: Maybelline Rosy Matte in Salmon Pink

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1XjIAhv The Rosy Matte series is described in the maybelline website as a line of vivid shades with a creamy formula that provides full coverage and a matte finish. Honestly, I'm underwhelmed. Out of all the product's claims, the only one i found accurate was the creaminess of the formula. The rest were overstatements. I didn't find this pigmented enough to be called vivid. The coverage is also more aptly called sheer than full. It was difficult to apply this evenly. It kept leaving patchy spots all over the place even after several swipes. I got so frustrated that I think i broke the tube. Also, this is evidently not matte. Maybelline is a great brand. There are superb products in its roster. Sadly, there are unimpressive products as well like this one. Fortunately, if you fancy a nude pink lipstick, you won't have to look far.
