Here are all the currently available #meetmatteshughes liquid lipsticks from@thebalm_cosmetics . There are 12 of them, all in all. 8 were originally released and 4 were added later. As you can see, we have a pretty good range here of shades from nudes, corals, browns, mauves, and reds. I really love these colors. They are all flattering for the typical Filipina skintone which is light medium to medium. The finish is semi-matte as there still is a little sheen on the lips but i think that's a trade off of comfort. This line is one of the most comfortable liquid lipsticks I've ever tried. These all feel so light. You won't feel them. They're not too drying either that you feel like you can't move your lips. The color payoff is more than decent too. It might appear a bit thin upon initial application but it sort of works with your lip color to deliver a sort of natural looking lip. No cakey looking lips with these.

Review: Maybelline Rosy Matte in Salmon Pink

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1XjIAhv The Rosy Matte series is described in the maybelline website as a line of vivid shades with a creamy formula that provides full coverage and a matte finish. Honestly, I'm underwhelmed. Out of all the product's claims, the only one i found accurate was the creaminess of the formula. The rest were overstatements. I didn't find this pigmented enough to be called vivid. The coverage is also more aptly called sheer than full. It was difficult to apply this evenly. It kept leaving patchy spots all over the place even after several swipes. I got so frustrated that I think i broke the tube. Also, this is evidently not matte. Maybelline is a great brand. There are superb products in its roster. Sadly, there are unimpressive products as well like this one. Fortunately, if you fancy a nude pink lipstick, you won't have to look far.
