Mini Make Up For Ever Haul



This is why I avoid the@makeupforeverofficial store when I'm trying to stick to a budget. Their products are just too good to pass up. I had to grab the #prosculptingbrow (I've been eyeing this ever since it came out), the #aquaxleyepencil (in black because I need a backup and my old one is down to almost a nub) and two of the#artistrouge creme lipsticks in shades C211 and C108. As freebies, the great girls at @makeupforeverphilippines trinoma gave me this cool hologram pouch and some samples of the#step1primer .

Review: Maybelline Rosy Matte in Salmon Pink

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1XjIAhv The Rosy Matte series is described in the maybelline website as a line of vivid shades with a creamy formula that provides full coverage and a matte finish. Honestly, I'm underwhelmed. Out of all the product's claims, the only one i found accurate was the creaminess of the formula. The rest were overstatements. I didn't find this pigmented enough to be called vivid. The coverage is also more aptly called sheer than full. It was difficult to apply this evenly. It kept leaving patchy spots all over the place even after several swipes. I got so frustrated that I think i broke the tube. Also, this is evidently not matte. Maybelline is a great brand. There are superb products in its roster. Sadly, there are unimpressive products as well like this one. Fortunately, if you fancy a nude pink lipstick, you won't have to look far. You don't have to venture outside the maybelline store because they have perfectly lovely shades like Warm...
