Liquid Lipstick Love Series ft. The Balm Cosmetics Meet Matte Hughes Trustworthy


  • @thebalm_cosmetics #meetmattehughes trustworthy is a warm darker nude that has that flattering balance of brown, beige and brick. I love how this lip color livened up my face even though it is a nude. It's one of those rare instances when you put on something and you immediately think, "Wow, that's perfect." I still have a couple more shades to include in this review of the meet matte hughes liquid lipsticks but this shade is the current frontrunner in the whole line.

  • Base@makeupforeverofficial ultra hd foundation. I've been testing this out and it's looking pretty good. I still like the original hd foundation though because that truly looked like your skin but better.

Review: Maybelline Rosy Matte in Salmon Pink

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1XjIAhv The Rosy Matte series is described in the maybelline website as a line of vivid shades with a creamy formula that provides full coverage and a matte finish. Honestly, I'm underwhelmed. Out of all the product's claims, the only one i found accurate was the creaminess of the formula. The rest were overstatements. I didn't find this pigmented enough to be called vivid. The coverage is also more aptly called sheer than full. It was difficult to apply this evenly. It kept leaving patchy spots all over the place even after several swipes. I got so frustrated that I think i broke the tube. Also, this is evidently not matte. Maybelline is a great brand. There are superb products in its roster. Sadly, there are unimpressive products as well like this one. Fortunately, if you fancy a nude pink lipstick, you won't have to look far.
