Cool Toned Eye

Doing a cool-toned eye is a balancing act when you're skintone is warm. You have to find the right combination of pink and purple shadows and really blendable transition and crease shadows. Fail and your eyes look sort of out of place in your face. Just plain wrong, you know? Succeed and your eyes stand out in that flirty fabulous way.

On my eyes are #shuuemura purple shadows with a touch of silver in the middle blended out with #makeupforeverartistshadow on the crease.

Review: Maybelline Rosy Matte in Salmon Pink

via Instagram http://ift.tt/1XjIAhv The Rosy Matte series is described in the maybelline website as a line of vivid shades with a creamy formula that provides full coverage and a matte finish. Honestly, I'm underwhelmed. Out of all the product's claims, the only one i found accurate was the creaminess of the formula. The rest were overstatements. I didn't find this pigmented enough to be called vivid. The coverage is also more aptly called sheer than full. It was difficult to apply this evenly. It kept leaving patchy spots all over the place even after several swipes. I got so frustrated that I think i broke the tube. Also, this is evidently not matte. Maybelline is a great brand. There are superb products in its roster. Sadly, there are unimpressive products as well like this one. Fortunately, if you fancy a nude pink lipstick, you won't have to look far. You don't have to venture outside the maybelline store because they have perfectly lovely shades like Warm...
