Flashback Friday ft. The Balm Cosmetics Meet Matt(e) Nude

Image
Let's  #flashbackfriday   to this handy dandy palette that contains almost all the matte eyeshadows you need. This very nearly has everthing. You have your white shadow for your base or brow highlight, pinkish, yellowish and grayish transition shades and several shades to line your eyes or deepen up that crease. The only thing that's missing for me is a black shade which the new   @thebalm_cosmetics   #meetmattetrimony   palette has along with gorgeous warm and berry shades. If you're new to makeup and you want quality matte shadows at a reasonable (Note: This is not as affordable as drugstore shadows but it's also not as pricey as highend) price, this palette plus the matte trimony palette will meet ALL your matte shadow needs.

Oftentimes, I layer Essence Get Big Eyes Mascara over this for extra volume and depth. 7) Pink Blush.  This is a classic and it suits everyone. You cannot screw this one up. Blush will make you look healthier and, oddly, happier. It will liven up your face. Pro tip is to sweep it a little above the apples of your cheeks not on the actual apples. This lifts the face. Another Pro tip, invest in a blush brush. It makes a difference. It doesn't have to be expensive. I use one from Wet n Wild and that's just fine.
