Controversies aside, the materials used felt and looked inferior to the materials for the permanent collection. That said, i really like these brushes for their shape and utility. The #mac125se is densely packed which handy when drawing on my cheek contour or my bronzer. The #mac127se , on the other hand, is tapered, fluffy and applies blush evenly. Both brushes are also softer than most MAC face brushes and, so far, do not shed as much (I'm looking at you MAC150). Plus, these brushes are also truly limited because they do not have any identical brushes in the permanent line, not in the Philippines anyway. The blush i got from the collection was #macmodernmandarin which I've always wanted to buy because orange blushes look so fresh, glowy and healthy on us medium to medium dark skintoned girls. #maccosmetics  #maclimitededition #limitededition #maccosmetics...

That's disappointing because it definitely deserves props. It is pigmented yet creamy, not drying. It delivers both comfort and opaque color. Have i mentioned it's also relatively affordable? Actually, i think I've mentioned this before, I snagged this for only 200 pesos because SM was having one of those big weekend sales. The price is now back up to 400 pesos which is still a lot of bang for your buck IMO because look how pretty it is. It's that perfect shade between the mauves that dominated the autumn-winter season and the bright pops of color that inevitably takes over during spring-summer. Everyone on youtube raves about them. We here in the Philippines don't have access to them though so my curiousity had to remain unsatisfied.; 2. Honestly, I'm underwhelmed. Out of all the product's claims, the only one i found accurate was the creaminess of the formula. The rest were overstatements. I didn't find this pigmented enough to be called vivid. The coverage is also more aptly called sheer than full. It was difficult to apply this evenly. It kept leaving patchy spots all over the place even after several swipes. I got so frustrated that I think i broke the tube. Also, this is evidently not matte. Maybelline is a great brand. There are superb products in its roster. Sadly, there are unimpressive products as well like this one. Fortunately, if you fancy a nude pink lipstick, you won't have to look far. You don't have to venture outside the maybelline store because they have perfectly lovely shades like Warm...
